I'm a traveller, scientist, storyteller, and explorer with a deep curiosity about the world and the people who inhabit it.

By profession, I work in environmental science and blue carbon conservation, travelling across coastlines, forests, communities, and cities. Alongside that work, I document the places I encounter and the stories hidden within them.

Josephat Uncharted began as a way of sharing photographs and experiences. Over time, it has become something more: a collection of stories about discovery, curiosity, culture, and finding meaning in the unexpected.

I believe that travel is not simply about moving from one place to another.
